Paul Phelan flew for over 50 years in private, charter, corporate and regional aviation, worked in senior management roles with a major regional airline, and retains his license. In parallel he has been writing for Australian and international aviation journals for well over 20 years on all aspects of aviation including aircraft evaluation, flying, industry affairs, infrastructure, manufacture, regulatory affairs, safety, technologies and training.

Dr Richard Gates – Aviation Infrastructure
Richard has served on and chaired a wide range of committees and professional organisations both nationally and internationally, held various hospital posts, been in private practice and served as expert witness for the Courts. Richard’s has lectured widely in Australia and other countries and consulted to many companies and organisations including peak bodies of the legal, accounting and not-for-profit sectors.

Peter Rejto – Aviation Advocacy
Peter Rejto is a Private and instrument rated Pilot and owns a Mooney M20J. His dismay at the lack of airports in the Sydney basin was compounded by the closure of Hoxton Park and the shocking prices at Bankstown. This led to a recent stint as a Director at AOPA were he worked on airport and airspace issues. He is the current treasurer of the Australian Mooney Pilots Association and is a member of the Angel Flight team.
